Kalle is a rather nasty polar bear, and Caruso, the singing penguin, has been a thorn in his flesh for quite some time. So Kalle decides it’s high time to get rid of him. Lars, the little polar bear, and his friend Robby want to help Caruso. Instead, however, the three of them end up in a clattering train heading south. From a port, they sail across the ocean by ship, only to be dragged over board in a fishing net. However, with their last ounce of strength they finally manage to reach the beach of a mysterious island. After Lars, Robby and Caruso set foot on the tropical paradise, they become acquainted with lots and lots of very strange and funny animals. But suddenly some scientists try to catch the biggest friend Lars has ever had. Now he needs help from all of his friends to foil the scientists' plan.
